Bio-2000 is a biological waste treatment product that utilizes the powerful waste digesting activity of natural bacteria, fungi and enzymes to rapidly break down manure. The dairy formulation contains specifically selected fungi capable of breaking down lignin which is a major source of solids in dairy manure. This product also contains selected facultative anaerobic bacteria capable of producing enzymes necessary to break down proteins and carbohydrates.

Whether you are digesting solid, semi-solid, or liquid waste from cattle, swine or poultry, the Bio-2000 line of biological treatment products can enhance the natural process of waste digestion to reduce odor, the buildup of solids, and other problems associated with manure management.

Bacillus - Bacterial strains selected specifically for extracellular production of enzymes under aerobic and anaerobic conditions.

Fungi - Species selected for their ability to produce enzymes able to degrade the solids associated with animal waste material.

Application Rates:

The application rate of Bio-2000 is dependent on the size of the storage facility. To determine the volume of your holding facility in cubic meters; multiply the lenght times the width times the depth. Multiply the number of cubic meters by 1000 to determine the volume of the storage facility in liters. For best results, add Bio-2000 immediately after emptying the storage facility. Continue monthly additions until daily temperatures are consistantly below freezing. At this time the monthly addition can be discontinued until daily temperatures raise above freezing in the spring. For best results, once temperatures are above freezing repeat the initial dose to provide an active population of digesting microoganisms.

Directions for Use:

Bio-2000 should be activated with warm water prior to use. Mix the recommended amount of Bio-2000 with two volumes of warm water and let sit for 10 minutes. Add the activated Bio-2000 slurry through the manure pump or pour directly into the lagoon, pit or tank. Spread the Bio-2000 slurry over as much surface area as possible. If lagoon, pit or tank is crusted, break holes in the crust and pour the slurry into the holes.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place.
