Bio-2000 Swine Formulation is a biological waste treatment product that utilizes the powerful waste digesting activity of natural bacteria and enzymes to rapidly breakdown solids and reduce odors associated with the storage of swine manure. The swine formulation contains specifically selected species of enzyme producing, facultative anaerobic bacteria that can grow and breakdown solids in oxygen-limiting environments such as deep lagoons as well as other storage units where oxygen may be available. As the facultative bacteria proliferate, the noxious odors associated with anaerobic decomposition are reduced.

The maintenance treatment product is a water soluble formulation for the monthly treatment of waste in holding facilities. If the holding facility flushes to a lagoon, this product can be used in combination with the Swine Formulation lagoon treatment as an effective program to control solids and odors in all phases of swine storage.

Application Rates:

The maintenance treatment of BioSafe's Swine Formulation is designed to be applied monthly to effectively control solids and odors. The application rate is dependent on the type of production facility and number of animals.

Directions for Use:

The maintenance treatment of Bio-2000's Swine Formulation should be activated with warm water prior to use. Dissolve 250 grams in 20 liters of water. Determine the amount of product to prepare for each production area. This amount is based on the number of animals housed in each production area. Pour the dissolved product into each compartment of the manure holding facility in all production areas. In facilities using a flushing system or with a pull-plug design, add the dissolved product to the storage tank prior to releasing the liquid waste to the lagoon. To ensure maximum activity, use the solution as soon as possible after hydration. Discard unused solution and prepare fresh solution after 8 hours. Repeat applications monthly.
